Watermelon Rind Juice

Watermelons are very nutritious and helpful for cleansing our bodies. For years, we only ate the red part of the watermelon but we recently discovered that this important fruit is completely edible! The rind holds the most nutrients and contains chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has the power to regenerate our bodies, fight infection and promote the health of the circulatory and digestive system. It also reduces the binding of carcinogens to DNA in the liver and other organs. Try out this simple juice recipe below!

Watermelon Rind Juice Recipe
Makes 2 servings
∙ 1 small organic watermelon
∙ organic coconut water

1. Cut watermelon in half, scoop out the red part and eat it (including seeds). Set aside rind.
2. Using a juicer (we use the Breville juicer), add the watermelon rind in parts and juice.
3. Pour juice evenly in 2 glasses.
4. Add coconut water (according to your taste - to tolerate flavor).
5. Enjoy!
