"As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness." - Henry David Thoreau
When you learn about sustainability, it brings you to a higher awareness of life. To survive, we need food, shelter and water. Many people around the world are suffering because they are dependent on a system of government to take care of them. Taking responsibility for our lives in some of the worst situations is admirable. This is the story of a boy who built a windmill from junkyard scraps in order to help feed his village. His name is William Kamkwamba.
